Musings: Snow!

We went on a trip in January to check out the city and make sure it was a place we wanted to move. And even in the winter it was beautiful and we found lots of fun things to do and hung out with a lot of cool people. We felt at home, as we had in London, and that was the feeling we were looking for.

Snow!

Hello all! I am beginning to feel human again. I received a visit from friends bearing treats I am sure the cookies and muffins helped make me feel better. And Chris and I managed to get out of the house on Sunday.
I needed a new coat since I don't have a "winter" coat. It is winter here now, let me tell you. So anyway we went to REI and bought some cozy hats and then went to Sears for a Lands End coat I have been eying. The Lands End stuff was 40% off! Yay so not only did I get a sweet coat I got it for 40% off. We both found some sweaters and other warm accessories on sale too. I love sales. So now I am armed to face the cold.
Speaking of cold this is a picture from Chris of the view from our house the first morning of the snow.
By the way Lola loves the snow. She seems to need to pee more often now just to get out there. Sneaky dog.
